YOUR HOST: Mr. Igor Zmikic
ADDRESS: Obala Pomoraca 5, 20250 Orebic

TELEPHONE NUMBER: 00385 95 9042 014
Please call your host one hour prior to your arrival.
We recommend that you take the highway to Zagreb and Split until the end of the motorway. From there follow the signs to Dubrovnik until you reach the town of Ploce (where the highway ends).
From here you have 2 possibilities to reach Orebic:
1. In the Ferry Port of Ploce you take the ferry, which will bring you in 1 hour to Trpanj. Once arrived in Trpanj you will need another 30 min to the Villa. Or you can simply go to the new bridge in town Komarna on Peljesac Peninsula. When crossing this bridge you come from Komarna to Brijesta. From there you have 45 driving minutes to reach Orebic.
- low and high season timetable
2. From Ploce you follow the signs to Dubrovnik and Ston. After approximately 1,5 h of driving though the valley of the river Neretva (we suggest you make a stop at the stands by the street and buy some of the home-grown fruits and vegetables, honey…) you will reach Ston town.
Once there you turn left and follow the signs for the ferry to Korcula Island. You will be driving another hour on the Peljesac Peninsula (follow the signs for Orebic). When you arrive in Orebic town, follow the signs for Korcula Ferry and turn left into the Obala Pomoraca Street and look for the house number 5, where your Villa lies.
We suggest you call your host Mr. Igor or send him a SMS at 00 385 95 90 42 014 one hour upon our arrival, so he can wait for you at the Villa.
The red arrow marks the Villa Sea Wave, the blue one the ferry port.
P.S. As a special attraction we suggest you visit Korcula town. Every 30 min there is a ferry from Orebic (the price for 2 persons and 1 car is 13 € one way). Korcula is known for its charming old town and the famous cocktail bar on top of the tower (Bar Massimo), which has a wonderful view and excellent cocktails!
P.P. S. As a stopover on the way to Turanj we recommend second gas station Typhon named Jasenice approx. 15 km after exiting the tunnel Sveti Rok. They have a delicious cappuccino and natural orange juice and in the air you can already feel the Mediterranean climate and scent of lavender, which grows all around. They even have a smaller playground for the kids behind the gas station.
We advise you take good care of your skin and not expose it too much to the sun and protect yourself with light clothing, shade and sun cream. It is advised that you do not expose yourself to direct sunlight between 11 am and 4 pm. If you have sun allergy, try using a sun cream with no fats (gel based), available by Eucerin, Vichy and similar companies. A simple solution and a useful advice which has helped many of our guests fall in love with the sun again!
The town of Korcula with its medieval Old Town (15 minutes’ drive with a tourist boat from your villa). Some people affectionately refer to it as little Dubrovnik. The town of Korcula is an annual host of Knights games called Moreska which are a wonderful tourist attraction, especially for children.
They take place in the old city centre in the amphitheatre under the stars. After the games have a cocktail at Massimo – a pub in the tower of the city walls. To reach it, you need to climb a wooden ladder (skirts are not recommended). For that final cherry on top treat yourself to an authentic sea food dinner in one of Korcula's many restaurants (we recommend restaurant Mareda in the old city centre) to end the perfect trip around Korcula Island.
1. A tavern Maritimo, which is located in Viganj. In this tavern I ate the best fish in the last two years, the prices are very normal and not to even mention the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. This family run tavern is right next to the road and when you start climbing to the first floor, you are going to notice small little figures of seaman, which gives the place a touch of care and humour.
2. Tavern Chiringuita, from the villa turn left towards the beach Punta, and a bit further you will find it. There they have hose divine shrimps grilled with arugula and goat cheese, and a wide variety of bruschetta’s. It’s a fantastic lunch place, because it is so relaxed, half- surfer atmosphere and you may come in your swimwear. In the evening there is a romantic atmosphere with torches, and from the table you can admire the sea, so the experience is gorgeous!
3. Karma bar, here are the best coffees, it's a wonderful place to go to read your morning newspaper. When you exit your villa you turn right in the direction of Punta beach, 3 minutes away.
4. Tavern Barsa (no, it has nothing to do with the Barcelona Football Club :)) in Loviste on Peljesac peninsula is an obligatory visit! A lobster with homemade noodles is a speciality of the house is not a bad idea to make a reservation over the phone in advance, as the place get crowded quickly, since is it just a small, family run tavern, where almost everything is organic and prepared with love :)
5. Mareta restaurant in Korcula (order a homemade goat cheese that is not on the menu, just say that you have heard that there is one such delicate), shrimps with avocado, roasted apples with goat cheese, dates with fresh cheese and a salad with goat cheese, and I am sure that you have the dinner of your life! :)
6. Arsenal Tavern in Korcula town as well is a great place of homemade local food. Do not leave the place without having tried a grilled octopus with potatoes on grill, pogaca (pizza-like round thing with delicious eggplant, grilled zucchini and goat cheese), pasticada (a speciality of the house!), great salad with goat cheese and homemade zrnovski noodles with prawns! Mmmm, I wish I was there now! :)
We have personally visited, tested and fallen in love with each of our house. Inclusion to our selection can’t be bought. At least one member of our team spent a few nights in all our villas, so we know every owner by its first name as well as the name of their children.
Our standards are very high. Over 70% of personally tested properties fail to make it into our selection!
We make you feel special: To us, you are not a number. We have deliberately decided to stay
“small” and boutique, to avoid mass tourism and rather concentrate on excellent customer
service.
Who will organize not only your holiday home and desired period, but also arrange for the boat rental, transfer, give you information of where the best restaurant in the city is, where the first hospital is and how to reach an island in combination with specific flight details.
What we tell you is 100% true. We hate making things look better. If you have small children and you want to make a reservation for a villa that has rocky beach in front of it, we will tell you that it is not ideal for the toddlers.
You are safe: We are always with you - before your holiday and during your journey and vacation you can reach us on a mobile number 24/7.
